I squatted on Wednesday and worked up to 405 + 150 pounds of chains for a triple in a loose Metal Ace suit. That was pretty much it. I might have did some lunges in there too.
Friday I benched and worked up to 350 x 1.5 and got some reps with 225. I got 495 to a 3 board with Big Kyle’s extremely ridiculous bench shirt. I don’t remember what else I did, I know it was probably some pushups and a new kind of pull apart I “invented”.
Saturday I jogged a mile and a half and then did arms and shoulders, ton of Ginger curls and pressdowns.
Sunday I took completely off.
This morning I did 95# hang snatches supersetted with burpees and laddered up to 15 reps from one rep. Then I did 20 minutes of gentle cardio on the elliptical.
Today was the first workout I’ve had in a while that actually felt good and useful.
conventional deadlift: 225×1, 335×1, 425×1, 475×1, 515×1, 525 x 1, 425×11 That single was a PR at this bodyweight.
GHR, back elevated on thinnest box: bw x 3 x 10
pullup: bw + 20 x 10 x 5
front plank: bw + 20 x 5 x 60 sec
pistol to high box: 30 reps per leg These gave me a severe VM pump, which is a good thing. I guess.
